Text Box: Far West Nepal Trek
Far west Nepal is a mix of magical landscape, culture, and spiritual heritage. It is land untouched by modernity and greatly endowed with natural beauty and wilderness. Far west Nepal is rarely visited by westerners. Far west Nepal is mainly dominated by ancient Hindu culture. On the trekking route several “MANDU” (temples) can be seen of high religious importance. One can see the “DHAMI” (shaman) with turban, limbs covered with silver bangles, gold rings in the ear. On religious occasions he makes prophecies and heals the people.
