Text Box: Ganesh Himal Trek
Ganesh Himal (7429m) is located in western Nepal between Manaslu and Langtang ranges. Ganesh Himal range is not very far from Kathmnadu valley and is easily accessed. The trekking starts from Betrawati (six hours drive from Kathmandu) and ends at Gorkha (seven hours drive from Kathmandu). Trekking route goes through the maximum elevation of 4600m to 5000m. Part of the trek is very difficult because of high pass and narrow trails. Good health and prior experience of hiking is necessary. 
Text Box: Detailed itinerary:
Day 01 to 03: Arrive Kathmandu (1311m). Day 04: Drive Kathmandu to Trisuli then trek to Salangkhu Khola and camp there. Day 05: Salangkhu Khola to Balche village (2000m). Day 06: Balche village to Gonga (2700m). Day 07: Gonga (rest for acclimatization and watch the views of Langtang, Liorung and Gosainkunda). Day 08 to 09: Gonga to Singla (4600m). The trail is zigzag and goes through rhododendron forest but the views of Langtang range, Ganesh Himal, Bouddha Himal Peak, Himal chuli (7893m), Mach­hapuchhre, Annapurna south and Annapurna II are great. Day 10: Singla to Serthung village (2200m). Day 11: Serthung village to Labu (1900m). Day 12: Labu to Mongeythanti (2928m). Day 13: Mongeythanti to Gunchet village (2100m). Day 14: Gunchet village to Kyoropani (900m). Day 15: Kyoropani to Arughat Bazaar (485m). Arughat is a small town on the bank of Budhigandaki River there are few teahouses and shops. Day 16: Arughat to Gorkha (1143m). Camp by the Gorkha palace, an old palace of Shah dynasty. Day 17: Drive Gorkha to Kathmandu. Day 18: Sightseeing and shop­ping in Kathmandu. Day 19 to 20: Fly back home.
