The trek originates from Gorkha. “Gorkha” the ancient kingdom of Shah Dynasty, the home country of great Gurkha Army has a mixed culture of Buddhist and Hindus. This trek leads very close to Ti­betan border and considered to be the most difficult trek because of narrow/steep trails and high alti­tude pass (5213m). In spite of rugged and steep trails and high alti­tude sickness problems this trek can be regarded the perfect alter­nate to the highly crowded treks like in Annapurna and Everest region. Circling the entire Manaslu range (8100m) this trek offers a great opportunity to explore the cultural diversity in central Nepal.
