Shivapuri Trek This trek starts from north of Kathmandu valley. The trail goes through Shivapuri watershed forest and passes through the top of Shivapuri ridge (2729m). After four to six hours hike from capital city Kathmandu you will experience the great views of higher Himalayan range, more than 50 peaks including higher than 8,000 meters. (7429m) and the world’s highest peak Mt. Everest (8850m) can be viewed in this trek. The trek ends at Nagarkot, which is another famous viewpoint of the Himalayan range to the north east of Capital City Kathmandu. This trek does not require prior experience of hiking.
Detailed itinerary: Day 01 to 03: Arrive Kathmandu. Day 04: Kathmandu to Shivapuri Lekh (2729m). Day 05: Shivapuri to Dhap. Day 06: Dhap to Nagarkot. Day 07: Nagarkot to Kharipati and drive to Kathmandu. Day 08: Sightseeing and shopping in Kathmandu. Day 09 to 10: Fly back home. |
