Building A Homemade Thermal Evasion Suit To Hide From Drones

Drones are an emerging technology that will inevitably become more and more common over the coming years. Drones were primarily military pieces of technology at first, but today many drones are sold to the general public.

Drones employed by our government, and many other governments around the world are the ones that I feel are the most potentially dangerous because of their surveillance capabilities. In fact, there are drones out there now that use thermal sensors to locate their targets. For example, a drone flying overhead in the middle of the night with next to no light would easily be able to find any person within its range because it would detect their body heat.

The world we live in is a dangerous place, and the stark reality is that as an individual your ability to fight back is limited. You may be able to handle a single attacker, or if you are armed maybe even a small group but not against the combined forces of our military or a hostile invading force? Forget about it; you don’t stand a chance. That’s what makes the thermal evasion suit so vitally important. Instead of fighting against a superior force you simply find a nice isolated area where you can survive long term, and you avoid being detected. Trust me when I tell you that no matter what the circumstances are, you are almost invariably better off on your own than you are in any relocation or detention camp.

I hate to say it, but the government in our great country hasn’t exactly proven to be trustworthy in recent years. That fact combined with the turmoil around the globe tells us that there may come a time where our government cannot protect us, or it could turn on us during a period of Marshal law. Unfortunately for most people, avoiding being detected by the government or any other military power will be difficult because drones now have thermal technology that can track you down if you are not in an underground cave or bunker. So unless you plan on living underground, you are going to be subject to being found by a potentially hostile foreign power, or even by our government which may try to confiscate your supplies to supposedly serve the greater good.

Well, I don’t know about you, but I don’t plan on spending the rest of my days living in a cave or a basement or a bunker. I might find myself in more challenging lifestyles due to circumstances beyond my control, but I’d take that in a heartbeat over being forced to relocate to a FEMA disaster camp. Wouldn’t you as well? The good news here is that even with the presence of thermal sensors it’s possible to evade detection through the use of a homemade thermal evasion suit. I’ll talk you through the process of making one so that you can also avoid detection by drones which will enable you to remain free and in control of your destiny.

You may be wondering why I am so concerned about the threat of being found out by drones, and I’ll be happy to explain that to you. I wasn’t always this way, in fact at one point not that long ago I had no interest in self-defense or survival whatsoever. But one day that all changed when I was verbally assaulted and threatened with violence by a man that had truly lost control of his emotions. You may think that I would be angry with this man, but the reality is that I’m grateful to him. Not only did he turn and walk away without hurting me, but he also opened my eyes to how dangerous the world is.

I began to train myself in self-defense after that day, and that training opened me up to the world of long-term survival. I realized that if I wanted to remain free and keep my family provided for then, I would have to prepare myself for a broad range of possible dangerous situations. One of those dangers is sadly our government. Years of shady dealings have been exposed recently showing the world that the government of our free country is not to be trusted. Because of that, I learned not only about safety and survival; I also learned how to avoid being mistreated by our government. During a major disaster, the government would like try to have us rounded up and force us to relocate to emergency camps. I don’t know how you feel about that, but for me, the idea of being compelled to leave my home and depend on the government to care for myself and my family in a camp sounds like an absolute nightmare to me.

Materials You Will Need To Build A Thermal Evasion Suit

The first thing I want to do here is to go over a list of materials that you are going to need to create your own homemade thermal evasion suit. I worked hard to find materials that would be both useful for their intended purpose and also inexpensive enough so that the average person can afford them.

Materials You Will Need

1. You are going to need a good amount of radiant barrier material; this is an insulating material designed for use in homes.

2. You are also going to need a good amount of polyester foam that is about 1 inch thick.

3. You are going to need some sniper veil mesh.

4. You are going to need some camouflage leaves.

5. You are going to need an adhesive such as rubber cement or glue.

6. You are going to need some cordage and straps.

Step By Step Instructions On How To Build A Thermal Evasion Suit

First off let me start by saying that you aren’t going to be making a suit as much as you are creating something more in lines of a cloak concerning appearance. The reason for this is simple, and then you are probably going to need survival gear. Since this suit is designed to insulate your body heat and also reflect heat away, it will cause any gear you are carrying on top of it to warm up. While this probably won’t damage your equipment what it will do is warm it up, which means you will be carrying gear that radiates heat. Kind of defeats the purpose of the suit there, doesn’t it? On top of that, a cloak helps to break up your outline so that you aren't as easily spotted. It's quite easy for most people to locate someone, even if they are wearing camouflage. By using a cloak instead of a form-fitting suit, you can help to break up that outline and make it harder for people to spot you.

Step By Step

  1. You are going to be making a pair of pants that extend down to the ground as well as a cloak and a hood; the hood should hang down and obscure your face.
  2. you have your piece of radiant barrier material on the ground facing down, you will want to cut a piece of inch thick polyester foam in the same size and shape. You then use an adhesive such as rubber cement or another type of glue to glue the polyester foam to the radiant barrier material.
  3. Next, you take another piece of radiant barrier material and glue it to the foam. This time you are going to have the radiant barrier material facing up, which is the opposite direction of the innermost layer of the cloak. This will reflect way any heat that might warm up your body, and it’s this reflective property that makes it unwise to carry any gear on top of it.
  4. Now at this point, you have a cloak that when combined with the pants you are going to make will hide you from just about any thermal sensor. If that was your only goal, then you are done, and you have your working suit. Unfortunately, your working suit happens to be bright silver, which kind of stands out. In fact, if you were wearing this suit as it is now nobody will need a thermal sensor to detect you, you will be standing out like a sore thumb. Fortunately, you're not through, and now you are going to put an outer layer on your suit to make it more useful for real-world situations.
On the outside of your suit, you are going to glue down a layer of lightweight camouflage patterned nylon. Nylon is lightweight enough so that it won’t retain much of the heat that the radiant heat barrier is reflecting. This step will make it so that the bright and easily visible silver radiant heat barrier will no longer be visible.
  5. Next, you are going to glue down a layer of black sniper netting on top of the nylon. Once again this is a lightweight material that will not retain heat.
  6. Finally, you are going to put your fake leaves on the suit and glue them down. You want to put them on the suit in an uneven pattern so that it breaks up your outline as much as possible. I’m telling you right now that if you are wearing a thermal evasion suit that is the same color as your environment, but doesn’t hide your shape, then you will be spotted quite easily.
  7. Once you have your cloak done, the final step is to create pants for your thermal evasion suit using the same steps mentioned above but merely modifying them to make pants instead of a cloak.

Important Things To Remember When Wearing Your Thermal Evasion Suit

  1. This suit is going to be warm, and if you live in a hot area, it can be hot and uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time. So if you are going to be active wearing the suit, make sure that you don’t over exert yourself, and make sure that you are drinking plenty of water. The suit can be worn during warm and hot temperatures as long as you pace yourself and are staying hydrated.
  2. Also, make sure that you remember that no gear can be carried on top of the suit, that’s why it is designed as a cloak instead of a form-fitting suit.

My Final Thoughts

The idea that unmanned drones are patrolling the skies armed with thermal sensors should scare you. The lack of privacy we already endure thanks to a government that routinely breaks the law to spy on us is already cause for concern, that concern goes into overdrive when you think about the fact that as you sit there reading this, there could be a drone monitoring you. I know that wearing a thermal evasion suit may seem a little odd to a lot of people, but it’s a far better option than having your location given away during a dangerous situation.

I value my freedom and if there was any indication that forced relocations may be undertaken you can bet I won’t be going willingly. I don’t care what the reasons are, ending up in a FEMA camp is something you absolutely must avoid. If you think that the government will take care of you and your family, then I’m going to give you a rude wakeup call right now. Take a look at Hurricane Katrina and the horrific conditions the survivors had to endure after the storm. Does that seem like the actions of a government that cares about the people and will be able to provide for them? Yeah, I didn’t think so either.
